In 2017, Thanasi joined Debbie Dogrul Associates, his team today which is comproised of over thirty agents. Thanasi has worked alongside these individuals as a Buyers Agent, working strictly with buyers where a third of his colleagues are Listing Agents. Thanasi serves a vast geographic area, including Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Today Thanasi has a repeat and referral business of over 75%.

While it takes years to build a referral network, Thanasi is already on the rise to the top after only a brief time in the industry. He is a very honest person who doesn't sugarcoat the situation. However, he also acknowledges that his ability to be candid is a trait that his clients appreciate whether showing houses or walking clients through buying a home. Thanasi tells his clients what they need to know as opposed to what they want to hear. These practices set him apart from his competitors. In addition, although making one of the largest investment of your life should be taken very seriously, Thanasi always ensures his clients are having fun during the process and is highly recognized for his humor and personability.

Thanasi stays in touch with his past clients by following up repeatedly throughout the year. These relationships continue to be a priority for him, as many clients become lifelong friends making it easier to stay connected even after the deal closes. The last few years have been impressive for Thanasi as he has sold over $80 million in volume. A loaded question for Thanasi when asked what he most enjoys, he shares he loves meeting new people and the learning experience involved in his career as a Realtor. "No transaction is the same as the next one," he shares while touching on his appreciation for the fluidity involved in his daily tasks. Lastly and most importantly, Thanasi loves assisting people through the process of purchasing the most expensive investment they will ever experience.

Alongside his team, he stays involved in the community as they raise money through team events and distribute the proceeds to various nonprofits. Aside from being an agent, Thanasi enjoys golf, golf, and more golf. With plans to continue learning and expand in his career, he plans to swing for big goals and improve. For Thanasi, we can expect big things in 2022 and maybe even a hole-in-one. Lastly, Thanasi holds firm in his belief stating “if your goals don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough.”
